As of version 8.1.4, EMG supports a configuration section type called SCHEDULE. Such a section has a list of TIMESPAN options, each one with a day name, a start time, and an end time. The day name is “Mon”, “Tue”, etc, or “*” to signify all days. The start time can be given either as just the hour, or in the format “hour:minute”. The end time is optional, has the same format as the start time, and defaults to the end of the day. If no end time is given, the start time is also optional, and defaults to 00:00. Some examples would therefore be:

Useful schedule names could for example be “office_hours”, “evenings”, “weekends”, etc.
A THROTTLE section or a connector can now be enabled only during the days and times given by such a schedule, using the syntax SCHEDULE=name.
