Changes
These are the changes in EMG 7.2.29 as compared to EMG 7.2.28.
- For the pdurunner, the input file directory can now contain files which are an entire test case involving several connectors. So, they can be called “pdu.test_send_via_smpp_get_dlr_via_ucp”, as long as the connector name and instance number on each line is correct. This gives a better overview of each test than when each connector has its pdus in separate files. To tell the pdurunner that it should handle the traffic on an outgoing connector, despite there now perhaps not being a pdu file for it, you need to run
export PDURUNNER_HANDLE_connectorName=1, for each one of the relevant connectors, before starting the pdurunner. Adjust this if your shell has another syntax for setting an environment variable. - The pdurunner now also supports the UCP operations 1 (call_input), 3 (call_input_supp), and 30 (sms_msg_transfer), in both directions. These operations can be triggered in EMG by sending a message over MGP or HTTP with option SMSCOP, using the values 3, 4, and 5, respectively.
- Some SMS systems require the deliver_sm_resp body to be empty, so the change in version 7.2.28 has now been reverted.
- The response for a successful login over UCP, is now changed from “A///” to “A//”, as that is what the specification says it should be.
- If the BACKEND parameter was changed from TC to LEVELDB or was removed, the message id’s started over from 1. This has now been corrected, making the switch easier.
