Changes
These are the changes in EMG 8.0.25 as compared to EMG 8.0.24.
- For connector protocols that may need to split outgoing messages, such as SMPP and UCP, the
MERGEkeyword now requiresLONGMESSAGE=1. This additional option ensures that the message will not be split again. You can setMESSAGELENGTHto a value larger than 160 if the remote side supports it, in order to be able to send longer messages. Without theMERGEkeyword, each part of a multipart message will otherwise simply be forwarded as is. - When
ROTATELOGSis configured to rotate by time, the existing files are examined at startup. If they belong to a previous period, for example if you haveROTATELOGS=1D, stopsemgdjust before midnight, and then restarts it just after midnight, they are renamed with the suffix for whenemgdwas stopped. This ensures that each renamed file only has data for the correct period.
