You may want to consider upgrading to the latest version of EMG 8 at this point.
Changes
These are the changes in EMG 7.2.37 as compared to EMG 7.2.36.
- Fix an issue where emgd could crash if the TLS handshake failed on an outgoing HTTP connector.
- Fixes for when using CSM on an outgoing connector.
- When the connection failed, the number of active instances was not restored. This would lead to the “
emgstat” output being confusing, with the value in the “USED” column possibly being higher than the value in the “INST” column. - When the TLS handshake failed, the connection was not closed immediately. This would result in parse errors and/or timeouts, before the connection eventually was closed.
- EMG would previous wait forever for replies to the bind operations, requiring “
emgd -refresh” or a full restart to close the connection.
