Update

2026-05-13: EMG 8.0.19 has now been released.

Changes

These are the changes in EMG 8.0.18 as compared to EMG 8.0.17.

1. If a connector with PROTOCOL=DLL returned a delivery report, but the connector didn’t have ALLOW_INJECT_DLR set, memory could be corrupted. This has now been corrected.
2. It no longer tries to access the database table used for the OAuth functionality added in version 8.1.0.

Known issue

One issue was identified after this release, but before 8.0.19 could be made available.

1. The logic for selecting when entries should be added to log files have been slightly broken since version 8.0.12. Primarily, setting LOGLEVEL on a connector no longer works correctly. The global LOGLEVEL parameters work fine, though.

However, if you’re upgrading from EMG 7 or earlier, please also take a look at the full installation guide, as you may also need a new Perl installation.
