Changes

These are the changes in EMG 7.2.38 as compared to EMG 7.2.37.

  • When the connector option CACHE_USER_READS is set, whether the user could send more messages was not cached, making it possible to send messages even though the credit limit had been reached. This has now been corrected.
  • The MMS protocols could previously leak a little bit of memory per message. This has now been corrected.
  • The ExpiryDate field in MM7 now behaves correctly regardless of the timezone given in the TimeStamp field.
  • The emgclient commands “orphans“, “queue“, and “routelog” now print the messages again. These disappeared in version 7.2.28.
  • The result returned by HTTP plugins was ignored, making it impossible to reject messages with a before_receive() plugin by returning a non-zero result. This has now been corrected.
  • In some unusual cases in outgoing delivery reports sent over UCP, the DSCTS field incorrectly contained the EMG message ID instead of the SMSC ID. This has now been corrected.
  • The command line tool emgload now initiates an SMTP dialog using EHLO instead of HELO. This way it can notice whether authentication is supported by the server.
